Flexible Molded

Flexible molded materials are typically manufactured through an extruding process into rolls or sheets. The material, only partially cured, is still bendable to different radii and shapes/ The material is cut to size, bonded or riveted to a brake shoe or steel backing plate and then cured in an oven into a tough, rigid material.
